How does Mindfulness Help?

In this busy world with conflicting demands on our time and constant distractions, we often feel we should be doing two or three things at once. This can be enormously stressful! Mindfulness teaches us how to stay focused in the present moment, how to choose what we focus on and how to have more control over all the over thinking our minds have a tendency to do. The result is we feel calmer, we get more done and we have more clarity on what really matters both in this moment and in our actual lives. It can bring help and support to many different situations we find ourselves facing in today’s mad world and it can provides us with invaluable tools to live a happier, more fulfilled life. This is why mindfulness is so popular today. If you haven’t tried it please do. It is not unusual for clients to tell me it has changed their life.

Customer Testimonials

Read about how mindfulness has helped our customers live happier lives.
Sue’ s course was my first experience of mindfulness and meditation and it was a great introduction , demystified the whole process. Sue’s relaxed style brings people together and makes the whole experience very informative and enjoyable.

An 8 week Mindfulness for Stress Participant

The course has given me some very useful tools to help me be present in my own life and to choose how to live it. It’s as if I have started to open the curtains and experience my life as it actually happens rather than sitting in a darkened room watching a film of my own making. The techniques taught by Sue are simple but they are not easy. They are not a quick fix; the course is the beginning; but it motivated me to carry on afterwards and make it a part of my daily routine. It has helped me to focus on the good things in my life, to keep my gremlins at bay and find a calmer version of myself.

An 8 week Mindfulness for Stress Participant

This course has helped me step out of the whirling roundabout of my thoughts and enjoy being in the moment. It's also made me realise I was already practising mindfulness at times without even realising it! Thank you so much, this is making a real difference to how I feel about myself.
